    • Building Description:
Located in the Clinton neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen across the street from Hearst Tower and only two blocks from Central Park, 301 West 57th Street (Central Park Place) is a mixed-use sky scraper comprised of two separate buildings.
The lower building has six stories, and the tower has 56 stories including a one-story base of six commercial units.Central Park Place was built in the postmodern style of architecture by renowned developer, Zeckendorf, and architectural-design firm, Davis Brody.
Their unique vision for Central Park Place included features such as aluminum cladding, bay windows, and terraces on the east side of the Tower. In addition to being one of the few aluminum clad towers in the city, Central Park Place also possesses an octagonal water enclosure, reputed to be one of the most attractive water towers in the New York City area.
With Columbus Circle only a block away from Central Park Place, residents of Central Park Place enjoy exclusive views of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and firework shows both on July Fourth and New Year’s Eve.
Since the completion of Central Park Place in the late 80’s, the neighborhood has seen tremendous change and rebirth. Part of the revitalization of Hell’s Kitchen included the renovation of several buildings such as Time Warner Center (replacing the Coliseum), 15 Central Park West (replacing the Mayflower Hotel), and The Trump International Hotel and Tower (renovation of Gulf and Western Building).
